Hi! I'M...
I'm a student at the University of Oxford, UK, pursuing a master's/bachelor's degree in mathematics and computer science. My primary interests are in mathematics, computer science, linguistics, computational social science, nlp, puzzles, LaTeX, creative writing, and software development. I love the joy of exploring, discovering beautiful proofs, and making progress on challenging problems, especially when I feel I’ve found a new way or made a breakthrough and when I finish thinking through a problem, writing my solution, and discussing ideas with others. I also enjoy philosophy, rowing, aerial acrobatics, badminton, and meditation.
I'm currently doing research in computational morphology, sequence-to-sequence modeling, and biases of LLMs. I have worked on NLP and have given/will give talks on my research at leading conferences in NLP and HCI including ACL, ACM UIST, the North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (NAACL), NENLP @ Yale University, and the ACM CHI Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems. I've taken university-level classes such as complex analysis, linear algebra, multivariable calculus, introductory group theory, and data structures and algorithms, among others.
I've been fortunate to be recognized with national and international awards in math, computer science, and linguistics. I have written solutions and short proofs in LaTeX and Asymptote and shared with others. Below are some samples of solutions I've written for some competitions I've won awards in!
